The Difference And Process Flow Between Special Hot Stamping And Traditional Hot Stamping
With the rapid development of the printing industry, hot stamping has become an indispensable new processing technology in the printing and packaging industry. The stamping process consists of traditional stamping and special stamping.
Special hot stamping is different from traditional hot stamping
1. There is no need to make metal relief plates during the hot stamping process, which is low cost and fast. As long as there is a positive negative film, it can be hot stamped.
2. It is suitable for the production of small batch and multi-variety personalized hot stamping products.
3. The hot stamping temperature is low, 100 to 130 degrees.
4. It is suitable for hot stamping of large area and fine line graphics.
5. Hot stamping substrates are not subject to production, such as: various plastic films, paper, leather, metal, glass, etc.
6. It has good adhesion to hot stamping substrate. After curing, the photosensitive film has the characteristics of high brightness, no yellowing, and no scratches.
Specific hot stamping process
Printing or spray printing photosensitive hot stamping ink → drying → film exposure → hot stamping → finished product.
1. Using 200-300 mesh screen to brush the photosensitive ink or use a spray gun to evenly spray the substrate to be hot stamped. Liquid photosensitive ink is a kind of transparent varnish, specially used for various hot stamping. It has excellent photosensitivity, high graphics resolution and minimum line width of 0.05 mm.
2. Drying. Use electric blowing air to dry or use a screen oven to dry, pay attention to the temperature of about 40 degrees.
3. Film exposure. Use the computer to design and make the required hot stamping graphics and text, and output the film for ultraviolet exposure. After UV exposure, the non-patterned part of the photosensitive film becomes thermosetting, and the patterned part is still thermoplastic.
4. Hot stamping. In the hot stamping process, the gold and silver hot stamping foil adhesive layer and the thermoplastic part of the photosensitive film are bonded into one body due to heat melting, and do not adhere to the thermosetting part, so as to realize the thermal transfer of the hot stamping film. The hot stamping equipment can be used for hot stamping with plastic sealing machine, electric iron and heat transfer machine. The temperature can be controlled at 100 to 130 degrees.
5. Hot stamping the finished product. After hot stamping, gently tear off the excess hot stamping film into a dazzling finished product.
